Walk in the footsteps of Jamie and Claire and visit the film locations used in the award winning Outlander TV series.

1 Day Tour from Edinburgh, Glasgow or Surrounding Area

We start the day by picking you up at your hotel or cruise ship and then travel to several of the film locations from the series.

We will visit Jamie Fraser’s iconic ancestral home of Lallybroch where we can sit on the same steps as Claire and Jenny and reminisce.

We will then visit the film set of Fort William where Jamie was flogged by Black Jack Randall and Jamie’s rescue of Claire from Black Jack’s clutches.

We will then have time to explore Castle Leoch, the home to Colum and Dougal MacKenzie.

We will also visit the village of Cranesmuir where we will see Gellis Duncan’s house and also see where the young boy had his ear pinned to the post, before heading to Castle Leoch Herb Gardens.

After this we will then return you to your drop off point.

Multi Day Outlander (Requires 2 Overnights in Inverness)

This is a 4-day tour taking in multiple film and book locations from Outlander as well as allowing you to experience much of the majestic scenery of Scotland.

Day 1

Will be the same as the 1 day Tour.

Day 2

We start by travelling north where we will visit the pretty village of Falkland, used as 1940’s Inverness, where Frank and Claire take their 2nd Honeymoon. We will also recreate the iconic image of the mysterious Highlander staring up at Claire’s window.

We then travel to the site of Craigh na Dun where we can relive the moment of Claire going through the stones. Unfortunately, there are no real stones here but that does not stop it being a firm favourite on the tour.

We then head through the beautiful Highlands of Scotland to visit the Highland Folk Museum where the episode of ‘Rent’ from Series 1 was filmed. This is where Claire met the washer woman and you can experience what life was like in a 1700’s black house.

From here we then travel to your accommodation in Inverness.

Day 3

We start by visiting the 4,000 year old Standing Stone site of Clava Cairns to hear about its history and also a great chance for a photo opportunity of you touching the stones like Claire did.

Next we visit the battle site of Culloden, the last battle on British soil, between the Jacobites and the Government army, to hear about how this battle changed the way of life in the Highlands forever. We also visit the Fraser stone where Claire said a tearful farewell to Jamie in ‘Dragonfly in Amber’.

We then travel to Beauly to have light lunch in the Lovat Arms, which is in Fraser country, and afterwards visit the Beauly Priory where Claire met Lord Lovat’s seer, Maisri, in the books.

Next is a stop at the MacKenzie owned whisky distillery of Glen Ord for a tour or tasting of our ‘Water of Life’.

We finish off the day at Ord House Hotel for afternoon tea (£5 p.p.) and weapons demo where you will see and hear about the weapons that Jamie and the Jacobites used.

We will then return you to your accommodation.

*If whisky is not your thing then we can change this to have some free time in Inverness for shopping.

We have a short stop in the pretty village of Fort Augustus before travelling on to the stunning Glencoe where you have time for lunch and a short walk.

We then drive south again through the stunning scenery of Scotland with some photo stops along the way and stop to hopefully see some of our famous Hairy Coo’s before heading to your drop off destination.
